Alice in Wonder Land

I am thankful to have the weekly edition of the SSN&S to keep me 'in touch' with news and friends. The front pages give the best reports: May 9, National Day of Prayer and Flooding; June 13, Traffic Crash with Injuries by Post Office and LCRA,City of San Saba Award $50,000 Grant to San Saba VFD; June 20, San Saba's physician, Dr. Craig Whiting retires; July 4, Mission San Saba 2024 and Hmmmm...What's for lunch? ..

I saw my dear friends Don and Joan Van Gorp and also The San Saba River City Band Director Bill Gruesendorf and his wife Pat at that lunch. I have great memories of playing my French horn in the SS River City Band on July 4th. Here in Ohio on July 4th, I watched a parade in Gratiot where Larry (died 2020) and I lived from 1977-2006. Before the parade, I enjoyed talking on the phone to Margie Wagner, Audrey Lowe, and Connie Gonzales. In June, it was great to get a letter from Shannon Hampu.

Romans 4:7&8..NIV...Blessed are they whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him.
