Hello, San Saba loves, and how did it become the middle of June already? I had my 3rd birthday, a year passed since dad’s death and time just seems to be flying by! I may not know how to tell time and may wake mom up at all hours of day and night, but I do notice life passing by.
I asked Mandy about the event happening in the park this past weekend, and she told me it was Cow Camp. I have heard much about camping, but I had never heard about cows camping! I tried to imagine the size of the tents and sleeping bags they had to bring, and my head hurt at the thought! Did they sleep in Hawaiian Moo-Moos, roast marshmallows on hay crackers? If we had a car, I would have loved to have seen it!
Mom fenced in the porch for me, and I am the happiest dachshund in San Saba! Our home in Houston had a lovely patio, and I have missed it. I would go out, lie in the sun, watch the birds, lizards, or just to think on my own for a bit. I haven’t been able to do that here since our yard opens to the street, but now I have a place of my very own! I loved looking out the window at my San Saba world, but there is nothing as great as being a part of it!
I spend much of my time watching mom seemingly repeat tasks…making the bed, doing dishes, cleaning the floor, dusting, washing clothes, etc., seems rather a huge waste of time to me. I wear the same thing every day, only take a bath when mom dunks me in the tub and forces me to, never pick up my own toys or dishes, shed the hair I no longer need, oh wait, perhaps that could be the reason mom stays so busy, never mind! Moms are rather nice to have around come to think of it!
Is air conditioning anything like hair conditioner? I know when mom turns it on it gets cooler in the house, but it isn’t called air cooler but air conditioner so I was just wondering? I find the English language confusing at times, and if I am totally honest, I find life confusing at times. One thing of which I am totally sure…we love each of you so very much!
