The Hill Country CattleWomen will have their final meeting of the CattleWomen's year on Tuesday, June 18th, at the Y.O. Ranch Hotel and Conference Center, located in Kerrville, at 2033 Sidney Baker Street. As is the annual June tradition of the CattleWomen, awards will be given for CattleWoman of the Year and Behind the Scenes CattleWoman. Those ladies who have attended all monthly meetings from September thru May will also be recognized for their loyal attendance. Come out and see your favorite CattleWomen receive their honors.
With an outstanding year of activity under our belts, culminat-ing with a successful RoundUp event on May 4th which raised over $95,000.00 for The Hill Country CattleWomen Charitable Foundation, we are ready to celebrate! The funds will go towards scholarships for high school seniors, college juniors and seniors, and those students attending trade schools with an emphasis on Ag related courses of study. In addition, beef gift certificates will be distributed to local food banks and The Hill Country Youth Home. The Hill Country CattleWomen would like to thank all who generously contributed to the success of our RoundUp event. Through the support of individuals and businesses, The CattleWomen are able to support and promote the Beef Cattle Industry in Texas.
Join us for our last meeting of the season, on Tuesday, June 18th at 10 a.m. for fun and socializing, awards presentation and a BBQ Buffet provided by The Branding Iron Restaurant. Lunch is served at noon for a cost of $25. An open invitation is extended to all women in the 14 county Hill Country region we serve. Now is an excellent time to become a member of The Hill Country CattleWomen to be ready for the upcoming 2024-2025 year beginning with our first meeting in September.
