The condo area where I live in Zanesville, Ohio, has a sign at the two entrances that it is a private drive and NO through traffic. It is a safe area where we have privacy, good walking, and a community building that we can rent where there are also condo activities. We get our mail delivered to a roofed area. My companion cat Dinah loves being on the porch and getting visited by chipmunks, squirrels, cats and walkers.
On Monday, May 6th, Dinah and I were on the porch at 8:15 a.m. when my neighbor Bill Buck walked by. He said “It's a good day just to be alive!” I responded “Indeed it is!” Bill is an inspiration at 85 as he walks and greets people with cheer and a joke or two.
When I read the SSN&S, May 16th edition, the County Commissioners Court Action Items included 'the elevator situation' at the courthouse. The Courthouse elevator here in Zanesville has needed repairs also and they are getting bids to replace it.
Repairs and changes are needed for everything, especially people. The prophet Jeremiah gives the Word of the Lord in Jeremiah 7:5-7...NIV...If you really change your ways and your actions and deal with each other justly, if you do not oppress the alien, the fatherless or the widow and do not shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not follow other gods to your own harm, then I will let you live in this place, in the land I gave your forefathers for ever and ever....... This is dated 626-586 B.C., and the IF's are important today.
