So close to the last days of school, special awards for San Saba Elementary School winners who participated in San Saba Garden Club Poetry and Sculpture Contests finally arrived in the mail! These awards came from The South Central Region (SCR) United States Garden Clubs (Arkansas, New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma). Yes, San Saba students were recognized above kiddos in these combined four states! These same students received the local awards given back in November by the San Saba Garden Club; then their entries traveled on to the district level, then to state, then on to SCR. Now, they are in the National Garden Club Competition. Thanks to San Saba Garden Club Youth Committee for hosting this contest and judging all the awesome entries submitted!
