The San Saba County Museum Foundation Inc., will hold its Annual Meeting Sunday, June 2nd, at The Father’s House Fellowship Hall beginning at 2:00 p.m. Our speaker will be Jane Hilton.
For over 20 years, Jane Hilton has enjoyed demonstrating Spinning and Weaving at various living history events and has developed a passion for learning more about cotton. We were fortunate to have her speak at A Night at The Museum in March, but because our venue is small, many missed out. We were asked to invite her back to speak at our annual meeting where we can accommodate many more people comfortably. Jane will share the history of processing cotton from the field to the loom and give us some handson experience.
Please join us at The Father’s House Fellowship Hall, 704 E. Commerce Street on Sunday, June 2nd. A brief business meeting will begin at 2:00 p.m. followed by Jane Hilton’s presentation. There will be fellowship and refreshments beginning at 1:30 p.m. While at the meeting, you will have the opportunity to support the museum with your membership.
