The Central Regional Pecan Show (2023 Crop) was finalized on March 8th, 2024, in College Station. Dr. Warren Chatwin, USDA-ARS Pecan Genetics, judged the 68 entries from 10 counties within the region. There were 27 pecan variety classes represented and 26 individual growers. Grand and reserve champion awards were given to growers from Bell, Comanche, and Medina Counties
