The regularly scheduled Thursday, December 14th, Rotary luncheon was held at Pepperbelly's. Marcus Wood presided. Nineteen members and one San Student honor student were present.
Honor student Cooper Owen explained his plans for the future. He has applied to TexasA&M and is interested in pursuing a degree with emphasis on business. He hopes to return to San Saba and continuing in his family’s business, Owen Trucking.
Official business of Rotary included induction of two new members who have relocated from California to San Saba County and have purchased the former Alamosa Vineyards near Bend. Tom Griese inducted Christos DeSalernos and his wife, Noelle Montag, and welcomed them both to the San Saba Rotary. Other business discussed included sale of T-shirts celebrating the upcoming April Total Solar Eclipse!
