Alice in Wonder Land

I got a response about the November 16th issue of this column from Marsha Childress. It was great to know that she ' always reads my fine articles' (her words). Our husbands were buddies. Jim hired Larry to restore a shell of a small building that was transferred from town to their property a mile or two west of San Saba. Marsha did the blueprint so that the small one-room plus bathroom was transformed with her designed cabinets, bunkbeds and a deck bigger than the cabin.

On the front page of the 119-23 issue of 'The News' were the winners of the COC Fall Decorating Contest. I recognize the 2nd Place Winner's window, San Saba News & Star, a great window and a photo of y'all ALWAYS a winner newspaper.

I will spend Thanksgiving with around 30 of my son-inlaw's family in Newark, Ohio, that is 45 minutes from where I live in Zanesville, Ohio.

After attending the 32nd Annual Zanesville Handbell Festival on Sunday, November 19th, I started writing this article and was perplexed on the closing paragraph, so I went to bed at midnight.

Is there anyone else perplexed? Meaning uncertain, hesitant, bewildered about the conditions of North America? Communist countries are not to be trusted. However, many of our products, including medication, is made in China. Their economy is growing, and the USA economy is declining. Apostle Paul gives helpful information in Colossians 2:6&7, The Living Bible...And now just as you trusted Christ to save you, trust Him, too, for each day's problems; live in vital union with Him. Let your roots grow down into Him and draw up nourishment from Him. See that you go on growing in the Lord, and become strong and vigorous in the truth you were taught. Let your lives overflow with joy and thanksgiving for all He has done.
