The Community Foundation’s Matching Donation Program to raise money for a new fire truck for the San Saba VFD was a whopping success. The program, which ran during the month of October, raised nearly $50,000 from generous donors throughout the community, and was aided by matching funds from an anonymous donor and the Community Foundation.
The SSVFD extends heartfelt gratitude for the continued support from the community, and is well on its way toward securing a new fire truck.
