Martha Sue Hoffmeyer Moody was born in Tyler, Texas, December 7, 1934. She was the daughter of Alfred Herman Hoffmeyer and Willie B. Hill. She married Thomas Arthur Moody of Danbury, Connecticut, on August 17, 1957. They lived in Louisville, Kentucky, before moving back to Texas in 1991. Thomas died in 2010. They had three children: Thomas, Elizbeth, and Matthew. They had six grandchildren. Burial will be in Tyler Memorial Park.
