The San Saba Golden Armadillo Band participated in the Concho Classic Marching Festival in San Angelo and the Big Country Marching Festival in Abilene this past Saturday, October 7th.
The SSGAB earned the following awards:
Concho Classic:
- 2nd place 2A band (out of 11)
- Outstanding 2A Color Guard
- Division 1 rating from all judges
Big Country:
- Earned a spot in the finals
- 4th place band out of 16 (Division 1A-5A)
- Top 2A band
- Division 1 rating from all judges
On Saturday, October 14th, the band will travel to Burnet for the Region 32 UIL Marching Competition. The band will march at 3 pm.
