Ralph Vasquez, 81, of Buttonwillow, California, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 25, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones at his home in Brownwood, Texas. He was born February 22, 1942, in Lampasas, Texas, to Santiago and Anita D Vasquez.
Ralph is preceded in death by his father, Santiago Vasquez; mother, Anita D. Vasquez; sister, Rose Irene Vasquez; brother, Frank Vasquez; sister, Irene Vasquez Torres; and son, Ralph Catarino Vasquez.
He is survived by siblings: Lupe Ynostrosa, Carolina Garza, Augustine Vasquez, Juan Vasquez, Martha Vasquez, Susanna Balencia, Virginia Gonzales, David Vasquez, Consuelo V. Navarro, Vicky Potts, and Antonio Vasquez. Ralph is also survived by his children: Lewis Vasquez, Erma V. Windham, and Kenny Vasquez; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Family and friends were received for visitation on Sunday, October 1, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral home in San Saba, Texas. Funeral services were held at Heritage Funeral Chapel in San Saba on Monday, October 2, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Interment was at Hillcrest Cemetery in San Saba following service.
