On Sunday, August 12th, J. T. Tucker will be the guest preacher at New Hope Presbyterian Church (9615 FM 2732). J. T. Grew up in Oklahoma, and following high school served three years active duty in the Army and three more years in the Reserves. Attending OU and Southeastern Oklahoma State, where he earned a degree in Business Information Nanagement, he then attended seminary and upon graduation served as youth pastor at Norway Christian Church in Dallas, and then as youth pastor as Southland Baptist Church in San Angelo. Since 2016, J. T. has served as Director of Pastoral Care at Shannon Hospital in San Angelo, where he leads a team of 11 other chaplains for the hospital team. Married to Robin, they are parents of two daughters and proud grandparents of five young grandchildren. His sermon text and title are: 'Knowing Good from Evil' - Genesis 10:8-10. Worship begins at 9:30 a.m.
