The Commissioners' Court meetings are opened with invocation and pledges to the American Flag and the Texas Flag.
There was a presentation by Uyran Nelson of CTCOG on discussion of Safe Roads regarding Safety Plan for Counties. $40,000.00 Funded for Road Materials and Contracted Projects.
FEMA Projects on close-outs per Marsha Hardy.
The Burn Ban remains in effect.
The following items were approved:
• Purchase of I.C.S. Integrated Computer Systems Specialized Reporting System for the Sheriff Department @ $168,423.80 and $15,000 for the purchase of Tablets and Mouse, and maintenance fee of $19,647.80 per year.
• Minutes of previous Meetings • County & District Clerk's Report, County Treasurer's Report, Justice of the Peace Report, and County Sheriff and Jail Report, all subject to audit.
• One Line-Item Transfer as presented by County Treasurer Lois VanBeck, and Accounts Payable.

Marsha Hardy updated the Court on the FEMA Status: Project #399 Precinct #3 Concluded.
The following items were approved:
• Funding of Rylander Library Carpeting Project FY 2023-2024 with bid of Brady Floors for $22,940.00 with LCRA Grant Application of $16,000.00 and County pledge $6,000.00.
• Action on Property Insurance Renewal FY 2023-2024 with Rick Baskin Insurance for $121,063.29 and pay 1/2 on 06/29/23 and the balance in the next budget.
• Inter Local Agreement with Burnet County for Inmate Housing.
• Accept private Donation of 2012 Polaris Ranger from Los Valles Ranch to the Sheriff Department.
• Resolution on Gulf Coast Railroad.
• Order for San saba County Investment Policy.
• Resolution to appoint Lois H. VanBeck as San Saba County Investment Officer to be Custodian of All Investment Records.
• Allowing the Maturation and Cancellation Release of the Construction Security Bond for Rocky Hollow Subdivision.
• Accept the 24 Month Maintenance Bond for Road Drainage and Improvements from Rocky Hollow Subdivision.
• County Burn Ban was enacted.
• Line-Item Transfers as presented by Ms. VanBeck, and Accounts Payable.
The following items were tabled:
• Action to Regulate Solar Farms in San Saba County - currently no Statutes or regulations. More research needed.
• Action to address Radio Communications within San Saba County for Upcoming 2024 Eclipse - waiting on two more bids for Radio System.
