CTC renews articulation agreement with Texas Tech

Central Texas College (CTC) recently announced it has renewed its articulation agreement with Texas Tech University which guarantees transfer of earned credit hours to the fouryear university. The articulation agreement is one more opportunity CTC provides its students to transition seamlessly to a fouryear university and guarantee transferability of credit hours.

While the agreement will benefit any CTC student considering attending Texas Tech, it may particularly benefit students at the CTC ServiceArea sites of Marble Falls and Fredericksburg where CTC shares a facility with Texas Tech. Students taking classes at these sites can complete an associate’s degree program with CTC and then, without relocating, begin their upper-level work toward a bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech. The articulation agreement also extends to online programs offered by Texas Tech.

“Our articulation renewal guarantees transfer of earned credits in their associate program to their chosen bachelor program at Texas Tech so they can enter the four-year school as a junior,” said Jim Yeonopolus, CTC chancellor. “We offer articulation agreements with many of the major four-year universities across Texas. And by renewing our commitment with Texas Tech, CTC is able to further enhance our students’ higher educational opportunities.”
