Excused Absence
Hello there, San Saba loves, and boy did I miss you guys! I wish I could say I was taking a lovely vacation, relaxing on a beach, or taking a tour of a treat factory, but nope, my week was spent with my visiting vet Dr. Terrell and medications. It seems my dachshund nose and body is allergic to nearly all things green! Hm, thank goodness my servant doesn’t turn into the Hulk!
Do you remember me talking about my husky friend, Ghost? His older companion died, and his parents got him a new one who is extremely rude! He came up to the patio and almost bit my nose off, and then Ghost growled at me! My feelings were shattered! I jumped in my servant’s lap, and she told me Ghost was just being a copycat, but that made no sense because he is a dog.
My servant has to give me medication now, and dad medication, and the other day when she walked in his room to dispense his, I hear him yell, “what do ya know Joe?” When she came back into the living room, I asked her who in the world was he talking to and did Joe crawl through the window because he sure did not come in the front door! My servant laughed and said Joe is the pharmacist at Everett’s Pharmacy, and dad adored him and that she was giving him his meds. I decided right then I live with two very strange humans!
