Mason - San Saba July 25, 2024Receipts totaled 1,446 head. Demand continued very strong this week. The stocker steers were $10 higher and in a few instances $20 higher with 2 steers 375 lbs at $375.00 ($1406.25) and 3 steers 422 lbs at $347.00 ($1464.34). Stocker heifers were $10 higher.

The winners of the 2024 Congressional Art Competition for the 11th Congressional District were announced May 31, 2024.Our very own Jennifer Barcenas of San Saba High School was selected as the winner for the Llano Region. Congratulations to Jennifer!

Dilloette Alumni Organization researches history for 65th Anniversary Celebration

The San Saba Drill Team was first organized by Joyce Matthews Cameron. The team required no tryouts and consisted of 34 junior high girls, and they were called the Drill Squad. By 1960-61, there were 44 girls in a drill team known as the Dillo Dolls.
