Damaging winds hit San Saba last week

Damage from strong winds hit San Saba County with a wallop shortly after the Ribbon Cutting of the Stan Weik Memorial Splash Pad last Tuesday, May 28th.There were reports of downed power lines and power outages around town.

Busy start to summer for MOE Basketball

MOE 5th/6th (41-3) [Pictured below] traveled to the PAC in Leander, Texas, on Saturday, May 25, and played up in division and picked up a second place finish in the Junior High Girls Division of the “Start of Summer Classic.

Recently I heard a country music song about choices, and I believe it was by George Jones. The song went on to say we live with those choices. We are faced with choices all of our lives, and they can be enjoyable and wonderful, or they can be painful or heartbreaks.
