 Colder temperatures can impact your natural gas bill by using more energy to operate your furnace, water heater, and other gas appliances. After the recent winter storm from 01/09/2025 to 01/11/2025, your natural gas bill for January may have increased.

Science Mill Winter Break activities continue through January 5

The Science Mill’s winter break STEM activities continue through January 5, with fun and challenging activities for families. Activities include -Using engineering skills to build a Da Vinci Bridge using only popsicle sticks. -Stacking cups using simple materials, all within a one-minute time limit.

San Saba house total loss in fire

When the 911 call went out Saturday night, San Saba VFD initially responded with both pumper trucks and one brush truck to a structure fire in the 600 block of West Pecan in San Saba.
