With the final buzzer sounding on another season, the Lady Dillos look back on a roller-coaster ride marked by both exhilarating highs and frustrating lows.
The San Saba Lady Dillos finish off the 2024-2025 basketball season as your 2A Region IV District 29 State Runners up, with an unforgettable historical school record 32-7, in a season that included three different players achieving four different career points milestones and 2,486 total team points.
A first place tournament made up of large 4A-5A school, an 11-1 regular season only to become soul district champions, dominated their ways through the playoffs bringing home the titles of Bi-District, Area, Regional and State Semi-Finals Champions.
They ultimately made their way to the very last game of the UIL basketball season at the Alamodome in San Antonio,f or one last dance. Falling 54-37 to the Lady Indians of Nocona, the team made up of three seniors, two juniors, one sophomore, and four freshman has gone where no other basketball team has reached but set the bar for the future Lady Dillos.
Our community is extremely proud of this team and for letting us follow them down this amazing road! Congratulations to Coach Gray and Coach Kinkade on a phenomenal season!!
