Twelve deserving students from the Texas Hill Country were awarded a total of $19,000 in scholarships by the Hill Country CattleWomen (HCCW). These students are currently Juniors or Seniors attending Texas Universities.

Receipts totaled 3,948 head. Demand was very strong with an active market on a choice set of calves and yearlings on hand. The stocker steers were $4-$7 higher with 30 steers 561 lbs at $153.00 ($858.33), and stocker heifers were $4-$8 higher with 42 heifers 575 lbs at $136.50 ($788.88).
