Cody Mann is named the City’s Employee of the Month

Cody Mann was named Employee of the Month for August of 2022 at the City Council meeting last Tuesday night, August, 16th. Cody has been in the water/ wastewater department for a little over a year, and his supervisor, Jesse Hunt, stated he has done a really good job.

Burn Ban finally lifted; F/Y 2022-2023 budget approved

Meeting after meeting, the item of the burn ban is tabled. It is just too dry. When we do get rain, it is not widespread enough to lift the burn ban. After some much-needed rain, the burn ban was finally lifted on Monday, August 22, 2022. It's budget time, and with that comes much discussion.
