Winter can be a magical time of year—hot chocolate, cozy blankets, and maybe even some snow flurries! But while we bundle up to stay warm by our fireplace, our pets need extra care too. Dogs and cats may have fur, but that doesn’t mean they’re safe from extreme cold.

Receipts totaled 6,590 head. The market continued an upward trend that started last week with good demand and activity across all classes of cattle. The stocker steers sold $15-$25 higher and in some instances $40 higher with 12 steers 568 lbs at $432.00 ($2453.76) and 5 steers 440 lbs at $530.

Sip N Stroll and Christmas Parade

Downtown San Saba was filled with holiday spirit, local flavor, and festive lights as residents and visitors gathered for the annual Sip ’N Stroll, an event hosted by the San Saba County Chamber of Commerce that cele-brates local businesses, Texas wineries, and community togetherness.
