Hello from Bend, Another week has gone by! We had a wonderful little rain, and the temps are cooling. The days are getting shorter, and the nights are getting longer.

The San Saba City Council awarded Paul Stewart, Street Department employee, the 'Employee of the Month' award for October 2022 at the City Council meeting held Tuesday, October 11th. Paul's supervisor, Luis Rios, described Paul as a hard worker.

A call went out to the San Saba Volunteer Fire Department last Tuesday, October 4, 2022, to respond to a fire on FM 580 a few miles south of U. S. Highway 190. You could see the smoke from downtown.

The San Saba NHS Pumpkin Patch Contest

As we enter the fall season, San Saba’s National Honor Society will be hosting the first NHS Pumpkin Patch Contest. This event is a service project designed to encourage involvement between the students of the San Saba School district and the residents of San Saba.
