Pierian Club celebrates Christmas

Cissy Williams and Ann Wilson welcome Pierian members to the club's Christmas Guest Tea which was held on Thursday, December 14th, at the home of Rhonda Killion. Each member brought a gift for Angels Unaware of San Saba County.

San Saba Officer discharges firearm during traffic stop

On December 19, 2023, at approximately 11:30 p.m., a San Saba Police Officer attempted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of West Wallace. Witnesses reported that the driver was speeding, driving recklessly, and performing hostile actions toward other drivers.

LCRA awards almost a million dollars in grants to support dozens of community projects
