The Hill Country CattleWomen met this past Tuesday at the Sandstone B&B in Llano. We voted on a new slate of officers and the year end awards for Cattle Women of the Year, and Behind the Scene Cattle Women. The new officers will be installed and award winners will be announced at our June meeting.

Howard Payne University’s School of Nursing recognizes first CNA cohort

Howard Payne University’s (HPU) School of Nursing recently held its first Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) completion ceremony. This event recognized the completion of HPU’s first CNA cohort through the Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP).

Average gasoline prices in Texas have risen 0.8 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.97/g today, according to GasBuddy's survey of 13,114 stations in Texas. Prices in Texas are 35.0 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand $1.27/g higher than a year ago.
