Are you ready for a heartwarming rescue story? Meet Sunshine, a sweet feral cat, and her three adorable kittens! Sunshine was found right before she gave birth to three adorable kittens. Though Sunshine may be a bit reserved at first, she's slowly learning to trust humans.

San Saba HS Big Art Day

San Saba High School Art participated in the Texas Association of Art Educators (TAEA) Youth Art Month (YAM). March is National Youth Art Month, and Texas has been a leader in YAM celebrations and events since it began. TAEA sponsors a number of School Boards (TASA / TASB) Conference Exhibit Hall.

Why is San Saba such a prime location? Many of you have seen a Path of the Eclipse, and some of them have a line right down the center. A common misconception is that only that center line will have a Total Solar Eclipse. But that is not the case.

Walk Across Texas spring participants

The First Methodist Church of San Saba and friends have three teams (team #1 First Methodist, team #2 More Methodists and team 3 S’mores Methodists) participating in the Texas AgriLife Extension’s Walk Across Texas program this spring.
With assistance from LCRA, the City is building this covered bench. As of last week, it was about 50% complete. All that needs to be done is to finish the roof and install the concrete bench.
