First Responder Story By Sue RansomI have reason to be grateful to both our EMT service and Sheriff Jenkins. Some time ago I had a serious pancreatitis attack. I thought I was dealing with the vomiting and didn't realize I was getting dehydrated.
The 2023-2024 Golden Armadillo Band competition season continues as their concert selections from their UIL program will be heard in the TMEA Honor Band contest in conjunction with the Texas Bandmasters Association state convention July 25th, in San Antonio. Cow Camp has donated a portion of the proceeds of the Cow Camp Kickoff to the Cherokee Home for Children for the last couple of years. Mr. Shawn Hull of Cherokee Home for Children said, 'It is an honor to us to be recognized right here in our own county. It means an awful lot.
