We all know it is called Thanksgiving. But how often do we actually stop and take time to be thankful?

This Thanksgiving, take a break. Make a list.

What are you thankful for? I asked some folks around town that question, and here are some of their answers to the question: I am thankful for:

all the interest and support given to the San Saba County Historical Museum in order to preserve our County's History Lynn Blankenship I am thankful for: Life - Stuart Isham I am thankful for:

small town life and the many blessings it brings - Marsha Smart I am thankful for:

the slow life, being able to be intentional and live in the present - Hallie Davenport (visitor passing through town) I am thankful for:

the cooler weather - Leanne Polluck I am thankful for:

my wonderful family, friends and town where I live - Marijean Alexander I am thankful for:

for the warmth of people in San Saba, who have made a 'stranger' like me feel right at home. Grateful for 10 years of exceptional friendships - Karen Sloan

I am thankful for:

our Lord and Savior first. Also for my family and friends. I'm thankful for living in such a great community full of wonderful people - Missy Long I am thankful for:

my loving family and friends - and this community. Blessed to live in a wonderful place - SS is the best! Praising God always Dora Miller I am thankful for:

my family, God, Thanksgiving Dinner - Hugh Henslee (8 yrs) I am thankful for:

Thanksgiving break and my cousins, Mom and Dad, and Jesus - Turner Henslee (5 yrs) I am thankful for:

God, Aggie baseball - Holden Henslee (3 yrs) Find someone - even the next person you talk to - and tell them what you are thankful for.

Consider going around the Thanksgiving table and letting each person tell what they are thankful for.

And then, most important of all, remember to Whom we are thankful!
