San Saba Elementary held it's annual Santa’s Workshop on December 2! Over 200 people were in attendance in the SSES gymnasium. Rosemary Cisneroz planned and organized this amazing event. Many elves and vendors were present for Santa’s Workshop as Santa and Mrs. Claus visited with children and listened to their Christmas wishes.
Jessica Fuller, SSES Music Teacher, led the students in singing Christmas songs, and their voices were so beautiful! Cindy Parisher, SSES 1st grade teacher, helped students play a snowball toss game and prized the students with candy! Kaytlynn Murray, SSHS teacher and Drill Team Sponsor, brought the Dilloettes, and they performed a lovely routine, while Shara Wright brought many of her art students and National Honor Society students who did face painting, storytelling, and made balloon art animals, swords, and candy canes.
Among the vendors present who made this event a huge success were Martha Leigh Whitten and Dora Miller (Alamo Pecan), Megan Cisneroz (designer t-shirts), Jessica Isham (Plunder Jewelry), Kelli Barker and friends from San Saba’s First Baptist Church (craft and ornament making), Olga Cantu (aprons and handbags), Zoey Anna (Sugar Shapez), Cindy Cantu Outlaw (Jal Yes Sauce), Charlotte Spence (hand sewn dish towels and other items), Cynthia Brand (various accessories), Callie Uptain (creative bows), Diana Landeros (Nena’s Mini Donitas), Maria Cervantes (handmade clothing and accessories), Melissa Vega (homemade goodies and treats), and Audrey Smith and April Reyes (Homespun Clay Earrings).
Fun was in the air, and the children (and adults) seemed to enjoy all of the festivities!
