Ken Jordan, owner of Jordan Cattle was the guest speaker today. Ken, who also serves as Mayor of San Saba, has owned the cattle auction for 37 years. His business provides a huge economic impact to the City of San Saba by providing business for local hotels, motels, B&B’s, restaurants and city utilities.

Jordan Cattle Auction specializes in providing marketing options for cattlemen. They offer two traditional weekly sales and pioneered the sale of premium, health-certified cattle. In addition to weekly auctions and premium, health-certified sales, they offer special sales promoting replacement females, feeder calves and yearlings and breeding bulls. Ken also said they maintain a quality lineup of country cattle where cattle are bought and sold without ever leaving the ranch.

They are also an authorized Gooseneck Trailer dealer and can help in acquiring other agricultural products. Their goal has always been to help producers. Your respect, trust and loyalty are still what’s most important to them, and their word and integrity still remain their most important business.

Thanks, Ken, for a most interesting and informative presentation.

The next meeting will be on April 14, 2022, and will be a visit to Mann Glass Company in Richland Springs.
