San Saba hosted on Pecan Capital Trade Day this past Saturday. The front of the courthouse was lined with booths with baked goods to canned jellies, jewelry to clothing, hand made purses to aprons, and much more.
People traveled from many different cities to host these booths for your early Christmas shopping adventures.
Rosalie and Bill Hiers from Bertram, Texas, have been coming to Pecan Trade Days for about 10 years off and on. Rosy’s business card describes her as “I’m your jam and jelly makin’ grandma.” She said the busness at Trade Days this month had been very good. Even though there seems to be a jar shortage, which made jars very hard to find, that did not stop her from bringing a great variety of Homemade Jams and Jellies.
Dawn Harris from Llano, Texas, was invited by Joann Van Gorp to come diplay her beautiful jewlery! She said she would definately come back again. You can find her on Facebook - coyote bling.
The next Pecan Capital Trade Day happens December 3rd. If you have goods you would like to put on display and offer for sale to residents and our many tourists visiting our wonderful town, contact Joan Van Gorp to reserve your spot.
