The Texas patriot who 102 years ago today captured Santa Anna and marched the haughty emperor before Sam Houston at San Jacinto is buried in the San Saba cemetery. He was Siron R. Bostick, at the head of whose grave there is but a modest stone marker. Beside him is the body of his wife. Both were residents of this city for many years. He came to San Saba in the early days, long before the coming of the railroad. He was not a man of wealth and lived a quiet life, though enjoyed telling friends of the battle in which he had a part and of his capture of the Mexican general.
