Since we ran our first pictures of several San Saba County men and their beards and moustaches it appears that several have given up the challenge more or less. Some of the beards have disappeared although most kept their moustaches. Far be it from us to find fault. We haven't even considered trying the task so we certainly don't have any room to be either for or against. The closest we ever came to growing a beard was when we came down with the chicken pox and talk about itch--yech. It was an ordeal. Hopefully there will be a good number of you boys who can hold out until June 11 so we can get pictures of the final product.
