    Some of you may have noticed on your way to work Tuesday morning that the north intersection of Cherokee and Wallace was closed to traffic.

    The San Saba Street Department was busy taking care of a small water leak.

    I first noticed the small leak a few weeks ago. Public Works Director Scott Glaze said that leak was on their list, but they had more emergent issues they had to solve before this one.

    Once they were able to investigate this leak, they dug down to the valve to find the problem. According to Scott Glaze, the valve was okay, but it had to be repacked.

    Kudos to our wonderful City Workers for all they do for us! Next time you see them, give them a huge 'Thank You!'
