And they gave thanks . . . monies, food and time to their community!

These volunteers are just a few who helped in the overall community project led by Dr. James Mercer and Saralyn Phillips of Heritage Funeral Homes, San Saba. The usual annual free Community Thanksgiving meal had to be cancelled due to illness, but the communities’ needs were met this past Thursday with approximately 300 free meals handed out, served or delivered.
