My daughter Jenny put the information about the new member of my family that adopted me on Facebook along with the photo of us. Oh how wonderful to see the responses from dear friends in Texas to Dinah my two-year-old cat. We have adjusted very well with the instructions on how to adapt. On her first day, Saturday, December 2nd, there was a oneweek instruction to be in one room. On Saturday, December 9th, the living, dining, and kitchen areas were opened. Today, Monday, December 11th, she explored the enclosed screened porch. She gets a thumbs up on every adjustment which means we were meant for each other because she is a Christmas gift from my daughter Jenny and God.
My Pastor, Mike Foster, is ready to compete next Sunday for the Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest. He didn't win last year so has predicted he's got the winner this year. Selecting gifts for people can be very difficult. Keep the sales slips handy for exchanges or refunds. I am thankful that we don't exchange or refund the gift of salvation as Christians.
