11 County residents tested for COVID-19

I talked to Marsha Hardy, Director of Emergency Management, on Tuesday morning, May 5th, and she said there were 11 County residents tested yesterday for COVID-19 at the Civic Center scheduled testing site. Results will be forthcoming.

Ms. Hardy stated the tested person receives their results via phone call. Next, the test site physician will receive the results via phone call, and then Ms. Hardy will receive a phone call with the person’s results. She added the seven persons from the county tested on April 23rd all received negative test results.

Ms. Hardy stated she joins all of the county residents in prayers for everyone to remain healthy. She urges everyone to be cautious and use social distancing, plus masks as needed.
