SAN SABA – Beginning Tuesday, November 12, TxDOT Brownwood District will perform a milling project on US 190 between Richland Springs and San Saba.
This milling process creates texture on the road surface to increase traction. The project will include east and westbound lanes, beginning west of Richland Springs, and will progress daily toward San Saba.
Various daily lane closures will occur between the hours of 8 a.m. to approximately 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, November 12–15, as traffic will be reduced to one lane with flaggers to assist motorists through the work zone during this time. Delays are possible, please plan additional time to arrive at your destination or use an alternate route if possible.
Milling can cause dusty conditions, so please use caution and watch for crews and equipment when driving in this location.
