Midwestern State University recognized 1,034 honor students for the Spring 2026 semester. The President's Honor Roll included 391 students, the Provost's Honor Roll included 297 students and the Dean's Honor Roll included 346 students.

San Saba May 8, 2026Receipts were reduced to 614 head due to the really good rains that fell over the area and no sale being held at Mason due to the Memorial Day Holiday. The stocker steers were steady and the stocker heifers were steady also.

MOE Basketball captures team titles

MOE 5/6 (19-5) traveled to Cedar Park, Texas, on May 30, to take part in the 2026 TXBA “Above the Rim Classic.” MOE 5/6 had wins over LTE Max 629, led by Abigail Davila with 16 points, followed Victoria Davis with 10 points and Evelyn Macedo with 10 points.

Museum Notes

Last week was busy at the museum. Besides hosting San Saba HS 9th graders and a group from Austin and others, our newest exhibit was installed. A large 48-star flag was mounted on the north wall of the Honors Room.
