Mission San Saba Update

This year, Mission San Saba will focus on Yolanda Morales’s residence at 202 W. Storey St. Yolanda has three sons: Christian, Diego, and Santiago. This project will begin Sunday, June 9th, and finish on Saturday, June 15th.Volunteers are needed during the week of the project to: - pray.

Taylor Wise is New Member of American Angus Association

Taylor Wise, San Saba, Texas, is a new junior member of the American Angus Association, reports Mark McCully, CEO of the national organization with headquarters in Saint Joseph, Missouri.

More Fishermen in the making!

We have more fishing photos to share with you. These three youngsters caught the catfish in this photo in the San Saba River. George (on the left with his 35 lb. fish), Christian ( in middle with his 50 lb. fish), and Edgar (on the right with his 40 lb. fish). Yep - that was a good day fishing!

2nd Annual San Saba HS Art Show

These 2nd grade students viewing the SSHS Art Show are (l-r): Leigha Turner, Hadley Fuller, and Lucille Cisneroz. The 2nd Annual San Saba High School Art Show was a huge success; over 400 pieces of art were on display.

San Saba Masonic Lodge Pin Awards

Rotary May Student-of-the-Month

Rotary May Student-of-the-Month was awarded to One Nguyen. Each month a different senior is awarded. Awards are based on leadership, character, teacher nominations, and a personal essay written by the student. Recipients are presented to the student body as well as the school board.
