Wylie B. Murray Post No. 27 held its quarterly meeting at Napoli's Italian Grill in San Saba this past Memorial Day with 22 in attendance.Special guests in attendance were John Ham, SSHS 2024 graduate, and Rodney Payton, Worship Pastor at San Saba's First Baptist Church.

On May 16, 2024,the Rotary Club of San Saba held its 42nd annual Honor Student Banquet recognizing academically highachieving students from Cherokee, Richland Springs, and San Saba ISDs. Former Superintendent and Rotarian President Buck Gilcrease served as the Master of Ceremonies.

The SSN&S has given updates on this year's Mission San Saba scheduled for Sunday, June 9th, - Saturday, June 15th. My husband Larry was part of this and like many, scheduled this as 'vacation time.' It is a community project and such a blessing for the workers and family selected.

Well, we’ve wrapped up another year for Richland Springs ISD. Our last week was one crazy ride. Our precious little kinder kids had their little ceremony; the eighth grade had their graduation ceremony. They are an outstanding group of young students.
