Looking to stretch both your body and your heart? San Saba County Friends of Animals (SSCFA) is introducing an innovative fundraising event that combines the calming practice of yoga with the boundless energy of playful puppies.

Local Trade Days Changes

To better serve our community, Pecan Capital Trade Days will be changing the date and times of the local trade days.New hours and time will be on the 2nd Saturday of each month March thru June and then September through December from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the courthouse square in downtown San Saba.

The Funner side of Rotary

Mason - San Saba January 30, 2025Receipts totaled 4,474 head. The market continued to move higher this week with the stocker steers selling $10-$15 higher with 3 steers 350 lbs at $490.00 ($1715.00) and 8 steers 447 lbs at $395.00 ($1765.65).

Burn Ban temporarily lifted for San Saba County

The San Saba County Commissioners Court voted to temporarily lift the Burn Ban that has been in effect since January 6, 2025. This temporary action will be in effect from January 30, 2025, through February 10, 2025, at which time the Burn Ban will go back into effect.
