Storms blow through central Texas - and San Saba!

What was forecasted to be a “slight risk for storms” during the night Monday night turned out to be rain, hail, and strong winds - and that was before the “High Wind Warning” went into effect at 8 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Receipts were reduced to 1,032 head this week due to the very cold weather in the area. The stocker steers were steady, and the stocker heifers were steady to $3 higher with 4 heifers 535 lbs at $320.00 ($1712.00). The feeder steers were steady with 9 steers 628 lbs at $310.00 ($1946.80).
