Ongoing Weekly Meetings

The BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) San Saba Satellite Discussion Group Women’s Day and Evening class begins the 2025-2026 study: Exile and Return: A time to Build on Thursday, September 11th. Day class is from 9:30-11:00 and evening class is from 6:00-7:30 at First Baptist Church San Saba. Come join us. Learn more at bsfinternational.org.

Lunch at Senior Center - Monday -Friday at noon. Suggested donation: $3 for 60 and over; $7.25 for under 60. Call 325-372-5833 for reservations. Every Friday, there is Bingo at 11 a.m.

San Saba Rotary - Meets the First and Third Thursdays at noon (except in July). Please ask any Rotarian or email rotarysstx@gmail.com for more information on meetings, events and times as they may vary. Our motto is Service Above Self!

Ongoing Monthly Meetings

The San Saba River City Band - is now rehearsing on the 2nd Tuesdays of the month at Commercial National Bank Community Room at 6 p.m. for the annual Christmas Concert just prior to the Sip N Stroll event in December. Players are still needed. Don’t have an instrument? No problem. We have several we can loan to you. Those interested in being part of the band, please call Bill Grusendorf a call at 325-372-5821.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast - Meet on the second Saturday of the month at 7:00 a.m. under the Tabernacle in Richland Springs.

Richland Springs Preservation Society meetings will be held the 3rd Tuesday (Note Day Change from Monday) of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Richland Springs Community Center. San Saba County Historical Commission - meets the first Tuesday of the month at the Rylander Library beginning at 1:00 p.m. Their meetings are open to all who are interested in San Saba County history.

San Saba Garden Club meetings - The Club normally, meets at 2:00 p.m. the first Tuesday, September - May. Prospective members warmly welcomed. For information on locations, contact Debbie Shahan at 325-372-7260.

Central Texas Food Bank - Due to the Christmas holiday, San Saba County food distribution to people will be Monday, December 22, at San Saba’s Civic Center from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Please call the Hotline at 800-786-2616 to check if inclement weather or holidays will affect the normal schedule.
