This year’s Hill Country CattleWomen’s Spring Roundup at the Texas Rangers Heritage Center was a resounding success! On Saturday evening, April 30th, HCCW welcomed 250 guests to their “Deep in the Heart of Texas” Spring Roundup. A wonderful evening of music, libations, dancing and most especially shopping was enjoyed by all.
Guests enjoyed musician Timothy Honsalek and daughter Libby Honsalek Harlos while perusing Silent Auction offerings. In addition to having a lovely voice, Libby Harlos is currently a first-year law student at St. Mary’s Law School in San Antonio.
While enjoying a fabulous prime rib meal from Backwoods barbeque, diners watched a video of local ranch scenes produced by photographer, Erin Worrel. Following the meal, Auctioneer Jeff Owen of Mason led a lively bidding raising monies for HCCW Scholarships. The Weldon Henson Band was a huge guest favorite playing music for the dancing that followed the auctions.
Hill Country CattleWomen want to thank all their generous Sponsors and Donors in the 14 county region for helping make their fundraiser successful. Monies raised will be used for Scholarships for students raised in their 14 county chapter, beef promotion and education, Ag Days at the elementary schools and the Women’s Ranch Seminar coming up on June 23rd in Fredericksburg.
