San Saba Elementary's first grade students put on a Halloween treat for our community. They're yearly music program this year was a Halloween theme where students showcased their knowledge of music through instruments, singing, scarves, and dancing. Our students prepared five songs for their audience: Tocatta and Kazoogue (a twist on the classic piece where we played the main theme in kazoo), Mwa Ha Ha, Disney's Skeleton Dance (where students played instrument parts to accompany the melody), Trick or Treating with scarves, and, a student favorite, Pumpkin Bones with an Orff arrangement played by students to accompany the singers. The show was a hit, and these students provided just the right treat to get the holiday started. A special thanks to our student teacher, Matthew Wenzel, for all his help in preparing this show with Mrs. Fuller. Way to go Lil' Dillos!
