The San Saba County Sheriff’s Office presents this year’s Citizen’s Law Enforcement Academy.
The Citizen’s Law Enforcement Academy provides a unique opportunity to acquaint you with the agencies dedicated to serving our community. Gain firsthand insights into the strategies and motivations driving these organizations in their mission to protect and serve. Through a blend of education and hands-on participation, our goal is to enrich your understanding of our operations and procedures. This program is meticulously crafted to offer you a comprehensive view of the missions and workings of our agencies, empowering you to delve into the complexities and challenges faced by law enforcement. Your participation is not just encouraged; it is essential. Your comments and suggestions will contribute significantly to addressing and overcoming these challenges, fostering continual improvement in the services we deliver. Your valued input is the catalyst for enhancing the impact of our community-focused efforts.
Topics that will be presented will include patrol procedures, criminal investigation, jail operations, warrant service, and firearms.
Completion of the academy gives you, as a Law Enforcement Academy Alumni, a unique opportunity to assist our local law enforcement with many functions where civilian participation is needed and appreciated, if you so desire.
