On Saturday, September 2nd, San Saba Masonic Lodge No. 612 will hold its regular stated meeting. A meal will be provided by brother Tristen Owens. Members and others are asked to bring a complimentary covered side dish, salad, bread, or dessert. With Labor Day weekend upon us, the Beehive is a fitting symbol for the month of September.
The Beehive - A beehive consists of a group of insects tirelessly working together to achieve a common goal. Similarly, the beehive in Freemasonry represents the importance of Masons coming together and mobilizing all efforts for one purpose. The concept behind the hive is to gather people with similar interests who can cooperate. The beehive also symbolizes a form of work known as industry and the craft’s different work types. In Freemasonry, work is vital!
